Confessions of a Recovered Multi-tasker

I believe you can do it all.

I just don't believe it is best to do it all at the same time.
Well maybe for some. But not for me...anymore.

At one time I juggled many things together.
At one time I squeezed as much into my day as humanly possible.
At one time I never said no.
At one time I moved so fast, I didn't even know where I was going, I just knew I needed to be somewhere or get something done.

Then one day I realized I couldn't do all that anymore.
Actually, I didn't realize anything.
The reality of the chaos just got the better of me.

So I stopped.

I stopped doing it all at once and started doing it one thing at a time. I don't even listen to music when I work anymore. All I hear are the birds in the back yard.

Yes, I felt like a slacker. But that didn't last long. That little voice in my head was silenced by my results.

I was breathing a bit easier.
I was enjoying my relationships more.
I was catching more opportunities.
Finally, believe it or not, I was getting more done and the more..

so much more gratifying.
